Women or girls come into profession as a sex worker due to unexpected circumstances like being raped, deprived, cheated, tortured, trafficked and trapped. Every brothel in Bangladesh is operated by leaders who buy girls/women from brokers or pimps. To have them a license working as a sex worker in brothel, operators also pay the government fees. It results a long term debt to operators for the sex workers. From the very first day, sex workers start repaying their debt to brothel leaders but in most cases they never get able to repay the debt in their life.
