A gender justice hub: tell us what you need

We are running a movement-wide consultation on whether and how to build a shared digital hub for the gender justice movement, and we want to hear from you.

Take the survey

Over the first half of 2026, more than 150 gender justice leaders, from grassroots women’s rights organisations to multilateral agencies, came together across four convenings and a survey of the field, hosted by Global 50/50. Their conversations shaped The Organised Many: a gender justice agenda for action, which sets out five priority actions for the movement.

The second of those actions is to connect the movements and resource a shared infrastructure. Participants raised four opportunities:

  • regular convening in shared, safe spaces
  • a shared digital hub that provides resources, knowledge, evidence and tools for the movement
  • a live, collaborative map of the spaces, networks and people the field already has in place
  • a skilled workforce of people with expertise in gender justice, including some who have recently lost their jobs

Gender justice advocates face a coordinated, well-resourced and digitally organised countermovement. Those working for equality often lack a shared space for the information, tools and opportunities they need to respond. Grants, jobs, events, research, evidence and narrative guidance are scattered across platforms, making it hard to stay informed and connected.

When we asked gender justice leaders what would most strengthen their ability to promote gender justice, more of them pointed to cross-movement alliances and connections than to any other option. A large majority of survey respondents also said they would help build the map of assets for a proposed digital hub.

This consultation is the next step. Before building anything, we want to hear from the wider community. Your answers will shape whether we build anything, and what form it takes.

How to take part

The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes, and you can skip questions or exit at any point. It is anonymous: we do not collect names, contact details, IP addresses or other direct identifiers.

Please share it with others working in this space. For any questions, contact info@global5050.org.

No single organisation can do this alone. Global 50/50 will keep convening so we can all build this power together.
