In Dialogue

Global 50/50 brings its evidence, analysis and leadership across the gender justice ecosystem through our own In Dialogue series, and the partner events we contribute to.

Why convening matters now

Around the world, the backlash against gender equality is coordinated, well-resourced and operating at scale. Too often, the actors committed to equality – governments, multilaterals, philanthropies, movements, civil society – respond in isolation, without the shared evidence, strategies and narratives needed to act together. That fragmentation creates openings for well-funded anti-gender forces.

Analysis alone is no longer enough. In Dialogue exists to close that gap: to build the alliances, strategies and narratives that can counter the backlash and advance gender justice collectively.

Our In Dialogue series

At a moment when the forces working against equality are organised, well-funded and operating at scale, we believe that convening the right people around the right questions is not a luxury. It is a necessity.

Each event brings together leading thinkers, advocates, practitioners and decision-makers to examine a pressing challenge – and to move from analysis to action. In Dialogue is where Global 50/50’s evidence meets the people with the power and the commitment to use it.

In Dialogue builds on Global 50/50’s track record of convening high-impact dialogues with partners including UNFPA, UN Women, WomenLift Health, ICRW, CREA, the Lancet and Chatham House.

The organised many: results of our 2026 convening series and gender justice survey

In 2026 we held four In Dialogue events alongside a gender justice survey. Our cross-convening report draws together what we heard – the shared challenges, the emerging priorities, and a gender justice agenda for action.
